Reflection: Chapters 5 & 6

Finally, some light is shed on how the post-nuclear world look. Uncle Axel explains to David that there are very hostile lands that are full of deviations that have their own standards and are not ashamed of being mutants. All over the world the different groups of people all believe that what they think is right and some will fight for their causes. This can be related to today by all of the religions in this world all saying that they are right. Both us as Christians and the people of Waknuk are both constantly looking for proof so they can say that they are the truth. I look forward to reading how they will prove their claims and how far they would go to defend it. 'Let us not seek the Republican answer of the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the future' - John F. Kennedy. The people of Waknuk will believe what they think is right until it is challenged.
